We've brought back one of our most loved potsticker varieties. Loaded with chicken, cabbage, and seasoning, and housed inside a perfectly thin wonton wrapper, these delicious classics are always a hit. There are several methods of preparation, but if you're looking for a crispy exterior, pan-frying is the way to go.
Boil water in steam cooker. Line the steamer with cabbage or lettuce leaves. Place the frozen potstickers in the steamer on top of the leaves. Cover steamer and cook approximately 15 minutes until the potstickers are done.
Heat 1 1/2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in non-stick frying pan to medium heat. Place frozen potstickers in the frying pan. Cook until bottom of potstickers are slightly brown. Add 1/4 cup water to the pan, cover immediately, and cook on high heat. Turn to medium heat when most of the water has evaporated. Continue to cook until all the water has evaporated and the bottom of the potstickers are golden brown.
Cover 10 potstickers loosely with wet paper towel and heat on high for 2 minutes. Turn the potstickers overs and heat for another 2 minutes. Potstickers will be heated through but not browned.
